About kasane
Our Store, “KASANE”, has opened as a variety store in Asakusa, Tokyo in 2015. Since we also provide various traditional Japanese cultural lessons, our store has two functions of both of providing lessons and selling products. The name of the store, “KASANE”, literally means “accumulation” in Japanese. This name comes from our belief that it is important for us to accumulate all kinds of experience.
Our main Japanese traditional cultural lessons are The Origami, folding papers, lesson, and the informal tea-ceremony experience, which all of utensils are set on a traditional tea tray called “BON”. We also have various items, which are made in Japan, including “one-of a- kind handicrafts” created by Japanese artists in our store.
We would be very happy if you could stop by our store during visiting Asakusa, and could feel free to enjoy our traditional cultural lessons to be one of great memories on your trip to Japan.

You will learn how to enjoy informal tea ceremony. After taking this lesson, you will be able to serve this type of tea with a regular teapot at home.
